Twenty Ten

2009 has come and gone in what seemed to be as quick as mix from the Belgium brothers 2 many Djs. 2009 was another good year for Australian music. The scene is going stronger than old mate walking around the festival with one thong on.... Australian music is raw, edgy, diverse and very fucking good. The music we recently produce and our grade A bands and Djs has lead to Australia becoming an industy leader in a wide genre of music...

Having a strong scene makes the best want to come here and if you look at some of the acts that have left our ears ringing and teeth trembling over the last few months this cant be denied. Djs and bands from europe and beyond are taking pay cuts just to be apart of the Australian summer of love festivities. The only problem being that they have to better than the locals....

Twisted electronic keyboards seem to making way for funkier stuff with a a good beat to boot. While funk is fun to much funk can be boring so we will have to see what the creatives do to us in 2010.

Vote 1

The top 100 Djs in the world? Yeah maybe not. Each one of these charts always seem so trivial. Typical Djs getting top spot.... Its good to see the likes of Deadmau5 etc up there, but when you dont see the names such A-Track and Fake Blood it can hardly be a representation of the guys who have disturbed our ears over the past year.

Dont get me wrong there are some decent Djs on this list no doubt, but seriously some of these guys have been around since the dawn of time..... If you want to vote for the classic Djs still spinning and can throw a party Grand Master and alike will kill these folk any day.

Insert Coin(s)

Gameboy/Gamegirl are now officially game-over. No more transsexual gaming for you.....

This one is probably their best track

It looks like Game on for Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love and the creators of Guitar hero. Apparently Courtney Love signed over the rights to use the Nirvana front man for the game but due to being sniffed up on her own little concoction of teen spirit Miss Love is unable to remember signing the agreement.

While on the other hand the ever technology friendly robots Daft Punk have created 11 exclusive tracks for the upcoming lounge chair Dj Game Dj Hero. Tracklist below..... Some pretty dope bootlegs.

Daft Punk "Around the World" vs. Young MC "Bust A Move" Daft Punk "Da Funk" vs. N.A.S.A. "Strange Enough ft. Karen O, ODB and Fatlip" Daft Punk "Da Funk" vs. Queen "Another One Bites the Dust" Daft Punk "Robot Rock" vs. Hashim "Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)" – Produced and mixed by The Scratch Perverts Daft Punk "Robot Rock" vs. Queen "We Will Rock You" Daft Punk "Short Circuit" vs. Boogie Down Productions "Jack Of Spades" Daft Punk "Technologic" vs. Gary Numan "Cars" Daft Punk "Television Rules The Nation" vs. No Doubt "Hella Good"

Pyramid, helmet and 50,000 screaming gurners not included

Dj Am died like a rock-star a few weeks ago in his apartment from holding onto a good night for a bit to long. They guy was pretty good talent that was able to tail end any two songs.

Peace.

The universal language

What a week it has been for the kids. GF got back from Europe very tired and hungover but with plenty of exciting news and presents. A brand new pair of nike kiddy kicks for my feet and a hectic kids of the blog one off Tee. She returns with plenty of stories such as hanging out with Eric Morillo and his entourage in Greece. So todays post is all about the universal language spoken all over the world - music.

Kick it off with some 80's

Other stuff

Anyway - Duck sauce A-Track & Armand Van Helden ( Interesting.... not a killer but still good)

Old tracks are new again
